Trinbago Knight Riders captain, Nicholas Pooran, has been charged with a Level 1 offence under the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) Code of Conduct.
The CPL confirmed the charge, which was for showing dissent at an umpire’s decision during the Eliminator match against the Antigua & Barbuda Falcons.
Pooran accepted the sanction and was fined 20 percent of his match fee. The CPL stated that the matter is now closed following the acceptance of the penalty.
The match was part of the ongoing tournament schedule as the teams competed for a place in the later stages.
