Pres­i­dent Paula-Mae Weekes says she and her 92 year old moth­er Phyl­lis Weekes, who re­ceived their COVID-19 vac­ci­na­tions on Tues­day at the Diego Mar­tin Health Cen­tre, have not ex­pe­ri­enced any side ef­fects.

A re­lease from Pres­i­dent's House said that Pres­i­dent Weekes with her pre-di­a­bet­ic sta­tus and her moth­er with sev­er­al co-mor­bidi­ties, are do­ing fine

"Her Ex­cel­len­cy urges all el­i­gi­ble cit­i­zens to make every ef­fort to get their COVID-19 vac­cines to en­sure the safe­ty of every­one. Her Ex­cel­len­cy thanks those who ex­pressed their con­cern and sent their good wish­es," the re­lease stat­ed.
