The Prime Min­is­ter says the pub­lic ser­vice will be shut down from De­cem­ber 24th to Jan­u­ary 2nd. This does not in­clude es­sen­tial ser­vices. In a press re­lease a short while ago Dr Row­ley stat­ed that this is to help mit­i­gate the spread of the Coro­n­avirus. He plead­ed with pub­lic ser­vants not to take this op­por­tu­ni­ty to gath­er in large groups.
