The mur­der toll con­tin­ued to in­crease fol­low­ing an ear­ly morn­ing mur­der in Diego Mar­tin yes­ter­day.

The de­ceased was iden­ti­fied as Ka­reem “Ful­ly” Charles.

The dead­ly shoot­ing re­port­ed­ly oc­curred around 12.10 am at River­side Dri­ve, La Puer­ta.

This lat­est killing pushed the mur­der toll to eight for the year so far – com­pared to four for the same pe­ri­od last year.

Charles’ killing fol­lowed a stab­bing in­ci­dent on Tues­day around 12.36 am at Sa­van­nah Ter­race #1 which left one man dead.

The vic­tim, iden­ti­fied as 23-year-old Akeel of Suc­cess Vil­lage, Laven­tille, had just left a wake and was on the road­way when loud screams were heard. Up­on check­ing, res­i­dents found the vic­tim bleed­ing from a wound to the neck.

He was tak­en to the St James In­fir­mary, where he was pro­nounced dead.
