A St Au­gus­tine cou­ple who op­er­ates a mi­ni mart out of their home at Or­ange Grove Trace had their premis­es shot at as they slept yes­ter­day.

The man and wife, both aged 43, were re­port­ed­ly asleep around 12.33 am on May 13 when they were awak­ened by loud ex­plo­sions at the front of the premis­es.

Up­on check­ing, they found sev­er­al bul­let holes in the front wall of the prop­er­ty, and sev­er­al emp­ty shell cas­ings were seen scat­tered on the road. —An­na-Lisa Paul
