A 14-year-old boy was robbed in St James on Thurs­day morn­ing.

Ac­cord­ing to a po­lice re­port, at around 7:55 am the teenag­er was stand­ing on Mu­cu­rapo Road, St. James, when he was ap­proached by a man armed with a knife who de­mand­ed his phone and valu­ables. 

The boy, fear­ful for his life, hand­ed over his black-coloured cell phone, val­ued at $600. The sus­pect then es­caped on foot.
