Two teenagers were gunned down in Bon Air on Tues­day night.

Po­lice said of­fi­cers of the Arou­ca CID were on pa­trol in Bon Air around 10 pm when they heard gun­shots near the cor­ner of Sky­lark Cres­cent and Emer­ald Cir­cu­lar.

The of­fi­cers went to the scene where they found the body of 15-year-old An­im Per­sad.

The of­fi­cers al­so found Ol­un James, 18, near­by faint­ly call­ing for help.

Po­lice took James to the Ari­ma Hos­pi­tal where he was de­clared dead at around 10.30 pm.

A dis­trict med­ical of­fi­cer vis­it­ed the scene and de­clared Per­sad dead.

Crime scene in­ves­ti­ga­tors vis­it­ed the scene and found 32 spent 5.56 shells and 25 spent 7.62 shell cas­ings.

Po­lice from the Homi­cide Bu­reau of In­ves­ti­ga­tions Re­gion II are in­ves­ti­gat­ing.
