For­mer chair­man of the San­gre Grande Re­gion­al Cor­po­ra­tion (SGRC), Ter­ry Ron­don, has passed away.

Ron­don spent 27 years of his life serv­ing the peo­ple of the To­co/San­gre Grange re­gion specif­i­cal­ly, and Trinidad and To­ba­go over­all.

Be­fore re­tire­ment, he was the PNM Coun­cil­lor for Va­len­cia East/To­co.

Ron­don had been ail­ing for some time and even sought emer­gency surgery abroad.

Speak­ing in the Sen­ate a short while ago, Works and Trans­port Min­is­ter Ro­han Sinanan paid trib­ute to Ron­don and of­fered con­do­lences to his fam­i­ly on be­half of the Gov­ern­ment.
