Former chairman of the Sangre Grande Regional Corporation (SGRC), Terry Rondon, has passed away.
Rondon spent 27 years of his life serving the people of the Toco/Sangre Grange region specifically, and Trinidad and Tobago overall.
Before retirement, he was the PNM Councillor for Valencia East/Toco.
Rondon had been ailing for some time and even sought emergency surgery abroad.
Speaking in the Senate a short while ago, Works and Transport Minister Rohan Sinanan paid tribute to Rondon and offered condolences to his family on behalf of the Government.
