Three men were held by officers of the San Juan CID shortly after they robbed two students on Tuesday.
The two 15-year-old boys attend the Aranguez North Secondary School and were walking home around 3pm on January 17, when they were accosted by the suspects in the vicinity of Bridge Road, San Juan.
The men proceeded to beat them and rob them of two Samsung cellphones and $5 in cash.
Following a police report, coordinated active and direct patrols were conducted by Snr Supt Edwards, Supt Revenales, ASP Singh and Insp Bharath – during which the three suspects were arrested by the North Eastern Division Task Force.
The two phones were also retrieved.
