A 26-year-old To­ba­go man has been re­mand­ed in­to cus­tody for the mur­der of US cit­i­zen Christo­pher Brown.

Kylelon Sandy of Scar­bor­ough ap­peared be­fore Mas­ter Whit­ney Franklin yes­ter­day, more than a week af­ter the killing.

Brown, of Col­orado, came to To­ba­go for a one-week va­ca­tion.

On No­vem­ber 26, how­ev­er, he was at­tacked and stabbed in the back at Cas­tara.

Sandy was rep­re­sent­ed by at­tor­ney Karl­son Brooks, while the State was rep­re­sent­ed by Sgt Rea­gan Ra­manan, who is al­so the le­gal of­fi­cer at the Homi­cide Bu­reau of In­ves­ti­ga­tions.

Sandy was re­mand­ed in cus­tody, and the mat­ter was ad­journed to Sep­tem­ber 22, 2026.
