The Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee (TTOC) has announced its new headquarters, which is located at 14 Robinsonville, Belmont.
The historic move marks a major milestone for the organisation as it prepares to establish the Olympic Museum within the newly purchased premises.
The announcement was made by TTOC President Diane Henderson during the opening ceremony of the Advanced Sport Management Course (ASMC), held on Thursday morning at the Hasely Crawford Stadium.
"After 79 years, I'm proud to share that we've achieved it—a dedicated space to honour our athletes’ stories and educate future generations," Henderson stated.
The TTOC President said:
"This is a landmark moment that sets the stage for even greater impact, while also reducing our long-term rental costs."
The new facility will serve as the TTOC's official headquarters and will include office space, the Olympic Museum, a café, and storage areas.
It also is expected to host workshops, and facilitate meaningful engagement with schools, communities, and stakeholders.
