The Trinidad and To­ba­go Olympic Com­mit­tee (TTOC) has an­nounced its new head­quar­ters, which is lo­cat­ed at 14 Robin­sonville, Bel­mont.

The his­toric move marks a ma­jor mile­stone for the or­gan­i­sa­tion as it pre­pares to es­tab­lish the Olympic Mu­se­um with­in the new­ly pur­chased premis­es.

The an­nounce­ment was made by TTOC Pres­i­dent Di­ane Hen­der­son dur­ing the open­ing cer­e­mo­ny of the Ad­vanced Sport Man­age­ment Course (ASMC), held on Thurs­day morn­ing at the Hase­ly Craw­ford Sta­di­um.

"Af­ter 79 years, I'm proud to share that we've achieved it—a ded­i­cat­ed space to ho­n­our our ath­letes’ sto­ries and ed­u­cate fu­ture gen­er­a­tions," Hen­der­son stat­ed.

The TTOC Pres­i­dent said:

"This is a land­mark mo­ment that sets the stage for even greater im­pact, while al­so re­duc­ing our long-term rental costs."

The new fa­cil­i­ty will serve as the TTOC's of­fi­cial head­quar­ters and will in­clude of­fice space, the Olympic Mu­se­um, a café, and stor­age ar­eas.

It al­so is ex­pect­ed to host work­shops, and fa­cil­i­tate mean­ing­ful en­gage­ment with schools, com­mu­ni­ties, and stake­hold­ers.
