The Trinidad and Tobago Mortgage Bank Limited (TTMB) and the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service Social and Welfare Association (TTPSSWA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to expand access to housing, financial literacy, and investment opportunities for members of the Police Service.
The signing took place on August 21, 2025, at TTMB’s Head Office.
The agreement will remain in effect for five years and will undergo annual reviews.
The MOU provides for mortgage financing, housing development support, and investment products designed for officers. It also introduces financial literacy initiatives and education programmes for long-term planning.
Acting Chief Executive Officer of TTMB Brent Mc Fee said the agreement represents a commitment to national development. He said officers should have the opportunity to secure their future and support their families.
President of the TTPSSWA Gideon Dickson said the arrangement is aimed at supporting the welfare of officers. He said more than 7,000 members of the Police Service will benefit through affordable housing and financial tools.
Both TTMB and the Association said they are prepared to expand the partnership beyond the initial framework.
The agreement forms part of ongoing efforts to support officers of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service through housing and financial solutions.
