A man and a woman have been ar­rest­ed for pos­ses­sion of a firearm and am­mu­ni­tion.

Ac­cord­ing to po­lice re­ports, on Sep­tem­ber 15th of­fi­cers of the North East­ern and West­ern Di­vi­sions con­duct­ed an ex­er­cise be­tween the hours of 4 pm and 10 pm. The of­fi­cers ex­e­cut­ed a search war­rant at Don Miguel Road, Su­dan Trace, and Oud­han Trace, El Soc­cor­ro.

While there, of­fi­cers dis­cov­ered one AR 15 as­sault ri­fle, and an as­sort­ment of am­mu­ni­tion.

The cou­ple were im­me­di­ate­ly ar­rest­ed and tak­en to the po­lice sta­tion.

The 40-year-old man is ex­pect­ed to be charged with pos­ses­sion of firearm and am­mo and the woman is to be charged with use of ob­scene lan­guage.

In an­oth­er in­ci­dent around 9:15 pm the par­ty of of­fi­cers pro­ceed­ed to North Coast Road, Pat­na Vil­lage, Diego Mar­tin, based on in­for­ma­tion re­ceived.

The of­fi­cers dis­cov­ered a mul­ti-coloured mar­ket bag con­tain­ing one dou­ble bar­rel shot­gun and two 12 gauge car­tridges.
