Jensen La Vende

Two men, yet to be iden­ti­fied, were killed by po­lice af­ter they re­port­ed­ly opened fire on of­fi­cers as­signed to the Ma­yaro Po­lice Sta­tion.

Ac­cord­ing to po­lice re­ports around 2:10 am Sgt Mo­hammed and of­fi­cers of the Ma­yaro Crim­i­nal In­ves­ti­ga­tion De­part­ment re­spond­ed to a re­port and went to a wood­en shack off a dirt track along La Brea Vil­lage, Guayagua­yare.

Po­lice claim they an­nounced their pres­ence but were then shot at. The of­fi­cers re­turned fire, killing two men on the scene. A third man at the scene is be­lieved to have been in­jured, but he es­caped.

The of­fi­cers searched for the third man, which proved fu­tile. A shot­gun was re­cov­ered at the scene.
