A 33-year-old Val­sayn man is cur­rent­ly as­sist­ing po­lice with in­ves­ti­ga­tions in­to the seizure of guns, am­mu­ni­tion and nar­cotics.

Ac­cord­ing to po­lice re­ports, dur­ing the ear­ly hours of April 14th, of­fi­cers searched the sus­pect’s Re­al Spring, Val­sayn home.
The of­fi­cers al­leged­ly dis­cov­ered four nine mil­lime­tre pis­tols, four ex­tend­ed mag­a­zines and 4.4 kilo­grammes of mar­i­jua­na.

The sus­pect, who is self-em­ployed, was im­me­di­ate­ly ar­rest­ed. The op­er­a­tion was led by Sgt La Pierre, Cpls Forde and Su­perville, and in­clud­ed PCs John, Good­ing and Alexan­der, Tu­na­puna War­rants Sec­tion and the Ca­nine Unit. PC Per­sad is con­tin­u­ing in­ves­ti­ga­tions.
