Po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing the mur­der of a 31-year-old busi­ness­woman who was gunned down at her Chase Vil­lage es­tab­lish­ment yes­ter­day.

Po­lice said of­fi­cers of the Freeport Po­lice Sta­tion re­ceived a re­port of a shoot­ing at Lime­head Road around mid­day and went to the scene and were di­rect­ed to Ree’s Roti Shop, where they found Jenell Mo­hipath ly­ing on the ground.

In­ves­ti­ga­tors said Mo­hipath was bleed­ing from a gun­shot wound.They were told that a man in black cloth­ing was seen leav­ing the area.

Re­gion III Homi­cide In­ves­ti­ga­tors were called in.
