The Zo­o­log­i­cal So­ci­ety of Trinidad and To­ba­go (ZSTT) has is­sued a state­ment in­di­cat­ing that the Zoo will re­main closed un­til fur­ther no­tice.

The ZSTT says this is part of its pre­cau­tion­ary mea­sures to deal with the cur­rent COVID-19 cri­sis in T&T.

COVID-19 Pre­cau­tion­ary Arrange­ments at Em­per­or Val­ley Zoo Con­tin­ue

The Zo­o­log­i­cal So­ci­ety of Trinidad and To­ba­go (ZSTT) ad­vis­es the pub­lic that the clo­sure of the Em­per­or Val­ley Zoo re­mains in ef­fect un­til fur­ther no­tice, to pre­vent the trans­mis­sion of the coro­n­avirus dis­ease (COVID-19).

The man­age­ment of the ZSTT is com­mit­ted to act re­spon­si­bly dur­ing these un­usu­al and dif­fi­cult times of this pan­dem­ic.
