J’Eleisha Alexan­der, the reign­ing “Most Valu­able Play­er”, net­ted six goals to in­spire de­fend­ing Na­tion­al Sec­ondary Schools Foot­ball League (SS­FL) Girls Cham­pi­onship Di­vi­sion ti­tle­hold­ers Scar­bor­ough Sec­ondary to an 8-0 spank­ing of Good­wood High at Mt St George recre­ation ground on Thurs­day.

Bless­ing Faith added the oth­er two goals for Scar­bor­ough Sec­ondary as they im­proved to sev­en points from three match­es, the same as na­tion­al In­ter-Col cham­pi­on Sig­nal Hill Sec­ondary who out­classed Ma­son Hall Sec­ondary, 4-0.

In the two oth­er match­es, Rox­bor­ough Sec­ondary whipped Pen­te­costal Light & Life 5-1 while Bish­op’s High de­feat­ed Spey­side Sec­ondary, 3-1.

Hadeed fires St Joseph’s PoS to 15-1 win over Tran­quil­li­ty

Char­lotte Hadeed fired in a hand­ful of goals as St Joseph’s Con­vent ham­mered Tran­quil­li­ty Gov­ern­ment Sec­ondary 15-1, to kick start its cam­paign in the North Zone at St Joseph’s Con­vent Ground, Fed­er­a­tion Park in St Clair, Port-of-Spain on Thurs­day.

The duo of Scar­lett Cole and Bethany Phillip both scored beaver tricks in the North Zone win for St Joseph’s Con­vent while Rori Git­tens and Bethany Phillip added one each.

In the two oth­er match­es in the North Zone, Diego Mar­tin Cen­tral Sec­ondary record­ed a 3-0 shut-out of for­mer pow­er­house Mal­ick Sec­ondary at Diego Mar­tin while Holy Name Con­vent (PoS) edged Bish­op Anstey 2-1.

In the East Zone, El Do­ra­do East thrashed got the bet­ter of Barataria North 4-3 in a sev­en-goal-thriller while Taya Williams scored the lone item for San Juan North in their 1-0 win over St Au­gus­tine and in the oth­er match-up, Bish­op Anstey East and Five Rivers drew 2-2.

In the Cen­tral Zone, Mir­a­cle Min­istries clob­bered Ch­agua­nas North, 5-0 and Holy Faith Con­vent (Cou­va) pun­ished Cara­pichaima West Sec­ondary, 9-0.
