Keryn Burke of Atlantis Aquatics was the only swimmer to establish a national record when the annual Peter Awong Memorial Sprint Meet hosted by the Tsunami Swim Club took place at the St Michael's Swimming Pool, Presentation College in San Fernando on Sunday.

Burke set a new 9-10 Girls national record in the 100m individual medley when she touched the wall in one minute,15.82 seconds to erase the 2013 mark of Jahmia Harley of 1:16.00.

In second place was Maia Roberts of Tidal Wave Aquatics in 1:26.61 while Siena Jagdeo of Petrotrin Barracudas finished in third place in 1:33.91 seconds.

The win for Burke was one of five from as many races on the day to take the Age-Group High Point trophy with maximum 45 points well ahead of Roberts (34) while Isabella F. Mendoza of Eagles Aquatics International was third with 32, nine more than Jagdeo.
