National swimmer Jada Chatoor missed out on medals in both the women's 200-yard and 500-yard freestyle events when her Emory University swimming and diving teams faced off against the University of Georgia at the Ramsey Aquatic Center at the University of Georgia, USA on Saturday.
Competing in the 200-yard freestyle, Chatoor touched the wall in fifth spot with a time of one minute, 53.18 seconds to trail the University of Georgia quartet of Zoie Hartman (1:48.02 minutes), Rachel Stege (1:48.20), Jillian Barczyk (1:48.31), and Callie Dickinson (1:50.42).
In the 500-yard freestyle, Chatoor was sixth best in 5:05.36 to finish behind the University of Georgia's Stege who won in 4:47.03, Sloane Reinstein (4:49.29), Emory's Sloane Donovan (5:01.50), and UGA duo, Heidi Stalkfleet (5:03.84), and Morgan Razewski (5:05.14).
Chatoor and the Eagles will next compete at the Auburn First Chance Invitational on February 3 and February 4 ahead of the University Athletic Association (UAA) Championships which begins February 8.
