BEN­GALU­RU – West In­dies’ dy­nam­ic all­rounder De­an­dra Dot­tin is among one of the biggest names who will con­test the 2025 Women’s Pre­mier League auc­tion slat­ed to be held in In­dia on De­cem­ber 15.

The 33-year-old pow­er hit­ter is one of 120 play­ers vy­ing to fill 19 spots for the third sea­son of the WPL, which runs from Feb­ru­ary 21 to March 15, 2025.

Of the 19, five are re­served for over­seas play­ers.

Dot­tin along with Eng­land’s Heather Knight, who was re­leased by Roy­al Chal­lengers Ben­galu­ru, have list­ed their re­serve price at the high­est slab of INR 50 lakh, ap­prox­i­mate­ly US$60, 000.

Oth­er promi­nent names in­clude Lizelle Lee, Sneh Rana (re­leased by Gu­jarat Gi­ants), Poon­am Ya­dav (re­leased by Del­hi Cap­i­tals), Shub­ha Satheesh (re­leased by RCB), along with Te­jal Hasab­nis and Man­si Joshi a.

Dot­tin was part of the suc­cess­ful Mel­bourne Rene­gades out­fit that re­cent­ly cap­tured their first-ever Women’s Big Bash League (WB­BL) ti­tle.

She came out of re­tire­ment ear­li­er this year and helped the West In­dies Women reach the semi­fi­nals of the Women’s T20 World Cup. Dot­tin was sub­se­quent­ly named in the World Cup XI af­ter hit­ting the most six­es in the tour­na­ment.
