Captain Karyn Forbes and Nia Walcott each netted a double to help T&T secure its second consecutive win as its quest to reach the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan, remains on course.
On Wednesday, the Soca Princesses met Antigua and Barbuda in the Concacaf Women's Qualifying Tournament and emerged with a convincing 5-0 victory at the Ato Boldon Stadium in Balmain, Couva.
T&T, who is aiming to top the group, went on the attack early and had Walcott open the scoring with a goal in the 13th minute. The visiting team though down, adjusted quickly defensively and did well to restrict the host team heading into the half with a 1-0 deficit until Karyn Forbes put the host team further ahead.
The experienced Forbes was accurate from the penalty spot, sending T&T's second item past goal-keeper Nikisha Samuel in added-on time (45+2), to hold a 2-0 advantage at the break.
In the second half, T&T continued to dominate play and increased its lead to 3-0 with Forbes connecting her second item in the lopsided encounter in the 74th.
Six minutes later, Aaliyah Prince (82nd) put in another goal for the Soca Princesses to see T&T go up 4-0. Walcott returned in the 89th to put the icing on the cake for T&T.
The local team opened the Qualifiers positively, with a 3-0 victory over Aruba on Monday, thanks to goals from Nia and Afiyah Walcott, and Janine Francois.
In the earlier match, Dominican Republic earned full points against Aruba with a 3-0 victory. In the opening round, Dominican Republic was held to a goalless draw with St Kitts and Nevis.
T&T will next play St Kitts and Nevis on Sunday at the same venue from 5 pm.
