Pre­sen­ta­tion Col­lege en­joy­ing their best ever sea­son in the his­to­ry of Sec­ondary Schools crick­et, copped the Pow­er­Gen Sec­ondary Schools South Un­der-14 crick­et ti­tle at Palmyra yes­ter­day.

Pre­sen­ta­tion ex­act­ed re­venge over Na­pari­ma Col­lege who de­feat­ed them in the fi­nals last year. Bat­ting first, Na­pari­ma Col­lege strug­gled to 93 all out with on­ly open­er Alex Gopaul get­ting in­to dou­ble fig­ures, as he top-scored with 10.

When Pre­sen­ta­tion start­ed their chase, na­tion­al un­der-15 crick­eter Ro­mario King grabbed two ear­ly wick­ets but this was not enough as he did not get the re­quired sup­port from the rest of the bowlers. Pre­sen­ta­tion Col­lege open­ing bats­man Riyaad Mo­hammed made 23, while Amar Chan got 33 not out and Nick­yle Jal­im 17 not out.

Pres will now move on to the na­tion­al se­mi-fi­nals as they await their op­po­nents. The vic­to­ry was Pre­sen­ta­tion Col­lege adds to their Cham­pi­onship ti­tle which they won ear­li­er this sea­son gain­ing pro­mo­tion to the Pre­mier­ship next year. On­ly last week they de­feat­ed Na­pari­ma Col­lege in the fi­nals of the U-16 tour­na­ment.
