David Agard scored six goals to lead T&T's 15 and Un­der boys' team to a crush­ing 20-3 tri­umph against host Bar­ba­dos when the wa­ter po­lo seg­ment 32nd Cen­tral Amer­i­can and Caribbean Swim­ming Fed­er­a­tion (CC­CAN) Cham­pi­onships con­tin­ued at the Aquat­ic Cen­tre in St Michael, Bar­ba­dos, on Fri­day.

Nathan Hinds and Miguel Greene both scored hat-tricks, Chris­t­ian Chin Lee and Jonathan Matthews added two each and Malachi Valdez-Brown, Josh Fuller, Justin Hack­ett and Ben­jamin Chow Quan got one in the lop­sided vic­to­ry to im­prove T&T to a per­fect 2-0 record in the three-team round-robin se­ries, at the end of which the top team ad­vances straight to Sun­day's fi­nal.

On Thurs­day, T&T splashed off its cam­paign with a lop­sided 14-2 beat­ing of Puer­to Ri­co, with Hinds scor­ing a beaver-trick and Greene and Agard three each. Chin Lee added two goals and Jerelle Pierre and Matthews one apiece in the win.

In Thurs­day's oth­er match, Puer­to Ri­co whipped Bar­ba­dos 10-2.

On Sat­ur­day, T&T faces Puer­to Ri­co again from 9 am be­fore clos­ing out round-robin play ver­sus Bar­ba­dos, from 5.30 pm.

Should T&T win the round-robin stage, they will ad­vance straight to fi­nal on Sun­day af­ter­noon from 5.30 pm. How­ev­er, a sec­ond or third-place fin­ish will see the T&T squad play­ing in the lone se­mi-fi­nal al­so on Sun­day, but from 9 am.
