The team of Adam Wy­att and Liev Khan cap­tured the Un­der-10 Boys Dou­bles ti­tle at the Methanol Trinidad Ltd Ju­nior Ten­nis Tour­na­ment at the Trinidad Coun­try Club yes­ter­day.

The pair took care of Bri­an Har­richa­ran and Rizwaan Mo­hammed in two sets 5-2, 4-1 in the fi­nal, much to the de­light of the fans that made their way to the venue. The crown was al­so a sec­ond for Wy­att who tri­umphed in the boys sin­gles last week.

Al­so yes­ter­day the team of Alex Chin, the u-12 sin­gles cham­pi­on, and James Had­den qual­i­fied for the fi­nal of the boys u-12 dou­bles, wrestling the fi­nal spot from the hands Isa­iah Box­hill and Cal­lum Koy­lass in the se­mi-fi­nals 4-1, 5-4 and 7-5 in the tie-break.

They will now await the win­ners of the oth­er se­mi-fi­nal be­tween the com­bined team of Kale Dal­la Cos­ta and Mar­cus West who will face the pair of Jardel Chap­man and Mas­si­ah Per­me­ll next week­end.

In an­oth­er dou­bles play-off, Bri­an­na Har­richa­ran and Eva Pasea will to­day take on the team of Sophi Abra­ham and Shiloh Walk­er in the u-10 girls' dou­bles.

Har­richa­ran, the win­ner of the sin­gles will al­so be at­tempt­ing to se­cure her sec­ond ti­tle of the tour­na­ment, and yes­ter­day she was in good form along­side an equal­ly tal­ent­ed Pasea, in dis­miss­ing the pair of Olivi­er Hen­der­son and Kate Broughton in straights sets 4-0, 4-0 in the first of two se­mi-fi­nal match­es.

In the oth­er semis, Abra­ham and Walk­er re­ceived a walk-over vic­to­ry at the ex­pense Gabrielle Print and Maryam Smith, the daugh­ter of for­mer Min­is­ter of Sports and Youth Af­fairs Dar­ryl Smith.
