The day start­ed with Holy Mass and a pro­ces­sion of al­tar servers, lay min­is­ters, mem­bers of the church por­tray­ing St Raphael and his two cheru­bims, and parish priest Fr Robert Chris­to.

The mass, lead by Fr Chris­to, was spir­it filled and every­one from far and wide took part in wor­ship and fel­low­ship with one an­oth­er. The church choir–com­pris­ing young and old, men and women–kept the con­gre­ga­tion on its feet with its soul­ful and rhyth­mic ren­di­tion of a va­ri­ety of wor­ship songs.

When the mass end­ed all the stalls were blessed and open for busi­ness.

There were over 30 stalls in­clud­ing food and games. Lat­er in the day, pa­trons took part in bin­go. Four parang bands in­clud­ing the com­mu­ni­ty's own Sol­da­dos De Chris­to ser­e­nad­ed late in­to the evening as vil­lagers, parish­ioners, and pa­trons danced to lo­cal and con­tem­po­rary parang mu­sic.

The evening end­ed with a bless­ing done by Fr Chris­to. It was in­deed a mem­o­rable and fan­tas­tic event for all.
