Lalonde Gor­don sped to his sec­ond win in as many weeks cop­ping the men's 200m ti­tle at the U Al­bany Great Dane In­door Clas­sic in New York, USA on Fri­day. The dou­ble Olympic bronze medal­list crossed the line in 20.91 to fin­ish ahead of An­dre Walsh (Mary­land E Shore/Ja­maica) 21.38 and Amer­i­can David Ver­burg (George Ma­son) 21.55.

Gor­don missed his per­son­al best of 20.58, set last year and al­so the na­tion­al mark of 20.35 held by Ato Boldon. On Jan­u­ary 11 at the Gotham Cup, held at the same venue, Gor­don took the rarely run 300m race in a meet record of 32.48. Jeanelle Ovid (Mor­gan State) missed out on a medal in the women's high jump fin­ished fourth with a dis­tance of 1.65.

Fel­low Olympic men's 4x400m bronze medal team mem­ber Jar­rin Solomon cap­tured the men's 600m at the on the first day of ac­tion at the Cher­ry and Sil­ver In­door in­vi­ta­tion­al in Al­bu­querque, New Mex­i­co on Fri­day in 1:17.63.

At the Prairie Wolf In­door In­vi­ta­tion­al, Lin­coln, Ne­bras­ka on Fri­day Aaron Le­ung Woo-Gabriel was sev­enth in the men's 60m fi­nals clock­ing 7.15 (7.16 in the heats).
