TTMA’s president Tricia Coosal said the organisation was the first to execute a public-private partnership with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Trade for the execution of vaccination sites.

She added the alignment which also included volunteers also made it possible for smooth and efficient operations, and even provided an execution template for other organisations.

“The TTMA is thrilled to have embodied our mantra Safety for Success under Vaccinate to Operate. The TTMA feels rewarded on our significant contribution to the safe re-opening of the economy through our vaccination drives.

“In June and July our vaccination drives focused on the businesses community, with the availability of vaccines and the roll-out of a national footprint of vaccination drives to the public the TTMA can now refocus our efforts on our mission to increase the value and growth of the manufacturing sector in T&T,” Coosal said.

As the country gradually moves towards reopening, she also encouraged every one to be vaccinated.
