Ban­dits broke in­to an apart­ment com­plex in Bel­mont and made off with sev­er­al pieces of house­hold fur­ni­ture in­clud­ing beds and couch­es, as the own­er was away for two weeks.

The vic­tim who lives at Sun­rise Park, Trinci­ty told po­lice she locked the house at Davis Street, Bel­mont, on June 11 and went away.

Up­on her re­turn on June 25, the woman found two apart­ments bro­ken in­to – and a quan­ti­ty of items miss­ing in­clud­ing four queen size beds and mat­tress­es; one bed­side ta­ble; two love seats; and two sin­gle couch­es.

The in­trud­ers gained en­try by break­ing the front win­dows in each apart­ment and ex­it­ed via the back-doors of both.
