Commissioner of Police Gary Griffith is seeking the public's help for information on the location, date and time of a drug-fuelled sex party that is set to take place on an island off Trinidad this weekend.
A tweet sent out via the official social media platform of the T&T Police Service (TTPS) today states: "@cop_ttps Gary Griffith is asking any law-abiding citizen, who may have information regarding the location, date and time of the highly publicized party involving prostitutes and drugs; to come forward with information. Please text the Commissioner’s number at 482-GARY(4279)."
The police and immigration personnel are reported to be on alert for arrivals of individuals who may be involved in the event and any suspicious activities linked to the event taking place within T&T.
Local authorities have warned that prostitution and drug use are illegal in this country and strong action will be taken against anyone caught breaking the law.
Although local authorities have also threatened to shut down the event, the organisers, Good Girls Co, claim they have permission to throw their fete.
Reports in British newspapers state that guests spent £5,000 for a ticket to the event which promises 50 male clients, including a 16-year-old boy from the US who reportedly won a free ticket, all the prostitutes, drugs and alcohol they can handle. The four-day event is due to start tomorrow.
