Com­mis­sion­er of Po­lice Gary Grif­fith is seek­ing the pub­lic's help for in­for­ma­tion on the lo­ca­tion, date and time of a drug-fu­elled sex par­ty that is set to take place on an is­land off Trinidad this week­end.

A tweet sent out via the of­fi­cial so­cial me­dia plat­form of the T&T Po­lice Ser­vice (TTPS) to­day states: "@cop_ttps Gary Grif­fith is ask­ing any law-abid­ing cit­i­zen, who may have in­for­ma­tion re­gard­ing the lo­ca­tion, date and time of the high­ly pub­li­cized par­ty in­volv­ing pros­ti­tutes and drugs; to come for­ward with in­for­ma­tion. Please text the Com­mis­sion­er’s num­ber at 482-GARY(4279)."

The po­lice and im­mi­gra­tion per­son­nel are re­port­ed to be on alert for ar­rivals of in­di­vid­u­als who may be in­volved in the event and any sus­pi­cious ac­tiv­i­ties linked to the event tak­ing place with­in T&T.

Lo­cal au­thor­i­ties have warned that pros­ti­tu­tion and drug use are il­le­gal in this coun­try and strong ac­tion will be tak­en against any­one caught break­ing the law.

Al­though lo­cal au­thor­i­ties have al­so threat­ened to shut down the event, the or­gan­is­ers, Good Girls Co, claim they have per­mis­sion to throw their fete.

Re­ports in British news­pa­pers state that guests spent £5,000 for a tick­et to the event which promis­es 50 male clients, in­clud­ing a 16-year-old boy from the US who re­port­ed­ly won a free tick­et, all the pros­ti­tutes, drugs and al­co­hol they can han­dle. The four-day event is due to start to­mor­row.
