Officers of the Central Division are investigating three separate robberies, in three different police districts hours apart on Thursday.
In the first incident, a 41-year-old woman got into a burgundy Nissan Almera on the Southern Main Road, Claxton Bay, at around 12.30 am and was driven to Pranz Gardens, when a man in the backseat demanded her cash.
The bandit stole her cellphone and $400 cash, before dropping her off at the Savonetta Housing Development and driving off.
Hours later at around 10.30 pm, three bandits—one of whom had a gun—walked into a restaurant on the Chaguanas Main Road and held a cashier at gunpoint, stealing a quantity of cash.
The bandits escaped in a silver Nissan AD Wagon.
Less than an hour later at around 11.04 pm, a food vendor was robbed by three bandits on the Southern Main Road, Chase Village, by three bandits, who stole $300 cash, before escaping in another vehicle. —Shane Superville
