An El Do­ra­do farmer was robbed of over $7,000 in cash by cut­lass-tot­ing men on Mon­day night while tend­ing to his pro­duce.

In­ves­ti­ga­tors said the 41-year-old who lives at Goya Street was in his gar­den at Bal­isi­er Road, Waller­field, around 9.20 pm on May 26 – when two armed men stormed the house.

The sus­pects who bran­dished a cut­lass each, at­tacked the vic­tim and oth­er work­ers.

The group was re­strained with tie-straps and made to lie on the ground as the sus­pects took $7,300 in cash, cell phones and valu­ables be­fore dri­ving off in the farmer’s white Hyundai H-1 van.
