An El Dorado farmer was robbed of over $7,000 in cash by cutlass-toting men on Monday night while tending to his produce.
Investigators said the 41-year-old who lives at Goya Street was in his garden at Balisier Road, Wallerfield, around 9.20 pm on May 26 – when two armed men stormed the house.
The suspects who brandished a cutlass each, attacked the victim and other workers.
The group was restrained with tie-straps and made to lie on the ground as the suspects took $7,300 in cash, cell phones and valuables before driving off in the farmer’s white Hyundai H-1 van.
