A 19-year-old boy was stabbed to death by a close male relative at his home in Freeport on Sunday night.
The suspect is still at large, however, police officers have launched a manhunt for him.
Police said at about 11 pm Alex Coombs was at their home at Mc Leod Street when he and his close relative had a domestic quarrel which escalated into a fight.
Police said it was during the fight that Coombs was stabbed several times.
He was found seated on a chair and was taken to the Chaguanas Health facility, where he was pronounced dead.
