Art lovers gathered yesterday to honour artist LeRoy Clarke on his 80th birthday—and in memory of his mother, Ellen Clarke.
Titled "Ellen's Leroy's Sayings Say...Seasons Vicissitudes," the exhibition showcased at 101 Art Gallery, Woodford Street, Newtown, and features 51 pieces of Clarke's works during the years.
The exhibition, which runs from December 8 to 19, qualifies for the tax incentive whereby corporate purchasers may claim the expense at 100 per cent in the year of expenditure.
