MOH: Vaccines available at multiple locations

COVID-19 vac­cines are now avail­able in mul­ti­ple lo­ca­tions across the coun­try. The Min­istry of Health says WHO-ap­proved vac­cines are avail­able in all 5 Re­gion­al Health Au­thor­i­ties, at all 109 Health Cen­tres, in ad­di­tion to the ad­ver­tised Mass Vac­ci­na­tion sites. The fol­low­ing is a press re­lease from the Min­istry of Health:

The Min­istry of Health ad­vis­es the pop­u­la­tion that a range of World Health Or­ga­ni­za­tion ap­proved COVID-19 vac­cines have been made avail­able at lo­ca­tions through­out the coun­try for mem­bers of the pub­lic 18 years and above, in­clud­ing the Pfiz­er vac­cine for chil­dren 12 – 18 years of age. Vac­cines are avail­able in all 5 Re­gion­al Health Au­thor­i­ties, at all 109 Health Cen­tres, in ad­di­tion to the ad­ver­tised Mass Vac­ci­na­tion sites.

Mem­bers of the pub­lic can there­fore ac­cess the vac­cines at lo­ca­tions most con­ve­nient to them. No ap­point­ment is re­quired and the pub­lic will be fa­cil­i­tat­ed on a first-come, first-served ba­sis, based on vac­cine avail­abil­i­ty. The pub­lic is fur­ther en­cour­aged to take ad­van­tage of any op­por­tu­ni­ty to re­ceive a COVID-19 vac­cine as soon as pos­si­ble and to con­tin­ue to fol­low the pub­lic health pro­to­cols and the ‘3Ws’ – Wear Your Mask, Watch Your Dis­tance and Wash Your Hands
