A 34-year-old salesman was granted $100,000 bail with surety when he appeared in court charged with two counts of sexual penetration.
Chaguanas Magistrate Adrian Darmanie ordered the accused to stay no less than 300 feet from the victim and report to a police station in his district once a week. He will return to court on April 6.
The teenage victim was at the home of a male relative on June 17, 2022, when the man allegedly had sexual contact with the teenager. A second incident allegedly occurred on June 24, 2022, at his home.
The matter was reported to the Chaguanas Police Station, and an investigation was initiated by WPC Luke which led to the arrest of the suspect.
Investigations were supervised by Superintendent Claire GuyAlleyne, ASP Seecharan, and Sergeant Cedeno Figaro.
