A 34-year-old salesman was granted $100,000 bail with surety when he appeared in court charged with two counts of Sexual Penetration.
Appearing before Magistrate Adrian Darmanie in the Chaguanas Magistrates Court on March 7 – the accused was ordered to stay no less than 300 feet from the victim, and also report to a police station in his district once a week.
He will reappear in court on April 6.
Reports claim the teenage victim was at the home of a male relative on June 17, 2022 – when the man allegedly had sexual contact with the teenager.
A second incident allegedly occurred on June 24, 2022, at his home.
The matter was reported to the Chaguanas Police Station, and an investigation was initiated by WPC
Luke which led to the arrest of the suspect.
Investigations were supervised by Superintendent Claire Guy Alleyne, ASP Seecharan, and Sergeant Cedeno Figaro.
