Tobago suspends walk-in vaccinations

The To­ba­go Re­gion­al Health Au­thor­i­ty (TRHA) says it will not vac­ci­nate peo­ple un­less they have an ap­point­ment.

In a June 9th re­lease, the au­thor­i­ty said the health cen­tres at Scar­bor­ough, Canaan, and Rox­bor­ough, are not walk-in sta­tions.

It said the sec­ond dose of As­traZeneca and the first dose of Sinopharm are be­ing ad­min­is­tered to old­er peo­ple with or with­out co­mor­bidi­ties, peo­ple with non-com­mu­ni­ca­ble dis­eases (NCDs), health care, and pro­tec­tive ser­vices work­ers, care­givers, teach­ers, and oth­er es­sen­tial work­ers.

The re­lease al­so not­ed that spe­cial arrange­ments are be­ing made to vac­ci­nate con­struc­tion and tourism sec­tors work­ers.
