A woman suc­cumbed to in­juries sus­tained dur­ing a ve­hic­u­lar ac­ci­dent which oc­curred two weeks ago.

Po­lice said Patrice Brew­ster, al­so called Pre­cious, from Bagatelle, Diego Mar­tin, died on Sat­ur­day.

The ac­ci­dent, which oc­curred on May 5, claimed the life of Brew­ster’s friend Chif­fon Daniel, a moth­er of four.

It al­so left Brew­ster’s spe­cial needs son, aged 10, in­jured.

Po­lice said the ear­ly morn­ing smash oc­curred when the car the women were in had been pro­ceed­ing through the in­ter­sec­tion when a White Nis­san Fron­tier dri­ven by a man from Diego Mar­tin was be­lieved to have bro­ken the traf­fic sig­nal and col­lid­ed with their white Nis­san B15.
