The Boys Un­der 18's Dou­bles Fi­nals of the Lease Ju­nior Ten­nis Tour­na­ment brought the cur­tains down on the first tour­na­ment to be held since the re­lax­ation of the coro­n­avirus (CIVID-19) pan­dem­ic pro­to­cols in Trinidad and To­ba­go.

The fi­nal's brought to­geth­er four of the coun­try's best young ten­nis tal­ents in the pair of Ebolum N'woko­lo and Saqiv Williams tak­ing on Aiden Carter and Liam Shep­pard. Carter and Shep­pard jumped out to an ear­ly 3-1 lead in the first set at the Trinidad Coun­try Club in Mar­aval on Wednes­day.

How­ev­er, Nwoko­lo and Williams, not to be un­done, dug deep to claw their way back in­to the match and took the first set 7-6(5). In the sec­ond set, it was more of the same as the boys left it all on the court with four match points be­ing saved in the sec­ond set, re­sult­ing in the 7-6(5) fin­ish and N'woko­lo and Williams be­ing crowned champs in the hard-fought straight-sets win.
