Four more match days remain in the T&T Darts Association (TTDA) Double In/Double Out league of darts

E-Z Lines are 12 points clear at the top after defeating fifth-placed Drifters 7-3. It was a very dominating display by the league leaders. E-Z Lines were 3-1 up at one point then 6-1 but drifters were able to save face clinching the two remaining singles.

E-Z Lines can officially be crowned champions depending on their clash against D.O.G.S. which was scheduled for last night. D.O.G.S. are tightening their grip on the second spot and hoping to put some pressure on the leaders after a 6-4 win over fourth-place Pub House Pirates.

Lestor Legall of D.O.G.S. is looking very sharp after scoring two 180s during the contest one in his singles match and one in the final group game, this form would be greatly received as Legall is a member of the national team set to travel to Jamaica this July for the Caribbean Cup of Darts. The pirates did battle all the way through the match but the singles round is where D.O.G.S. pulled away to gain a vital victory.

The B Division remains a tight race and will most likely remain that way to the end. League leaders Scorpions bounced back from their matchday 11 defeat to see off bottom-of-the-table, Random Squad, 7-3.

Bullz I dropped vital points against CB Shooters losing 6-4. The Shooters started the tie very strong leading 4-1 at one stage, Bullz I managed to win three straight singles in what looked like a feisty comeback, however, the Shooters held on to get over the line.

Bullz I remain in second and the Shooters remain fifth. Shanghai Bulls are up to third after a convincing victory over seventh-place Top Shot. At 5-0 up the Bulls were looking likely to whitewash their opponents but Top Shot was able to win two legs out of the five-match singles round to save a bit of face but it was not enough to stop the Bulls from winning 8-2. Bulldogs continue their impressive run of form with another fine victory over the tricky Sea Wolves.

Bulldogs were 3-0 up at one stage looking sharp but Sea Wolves did well to pull it back to 3-3 forcing Bulldogs to dig deep and hold on for a 6-4 win which sees them in fourth place and the Sea Wolves remain sixth. Roger Awah of the Bulldogs checked out the highest finish of the evening 105 (triple 19, single 10, double 19).

Match-day 12 is set to be very exciting as first takes on second in A division action as E-Z Lines take on D.O.G.S. In the B division Bullz I take on Shanghai Bulls, in the reverse fixture it ended in a draw both teams need a big win in order to catch Scorpions and secure promotion. The action takes place at the home of darts Kosmos Members Club POS on Tuesday (April 23).

All eyes are set on Jamaica as the national team continues to prepare for the defence of the Caribbean Cup of Darts in July. National men’s coach Adam Da Costa is very happy with the training sessions so far and will release the official team list very soon. The TTDA is still looking for co-operate partners to team up with to make this trip a successful one.
