England-born T&T defender Justin Hoyte played the full 90 minutes in helping Cincinnati FC record a 2-0 win against Ottawa Fury in the United Soccer Lague (USL) on Saturday night.
With the win, Cincinnati maintained its lead atop the Eastern Conference table with 34 points from 17 matches, six ahead of Pittsburg Riverhounds who have played two matches less.
Joint third on the standings with 26 points is Canada-born T&T goalkeeper Greg Ranjitsingh and defending champions, Louisville FC after a last-gasp 3-3 draw with New York Red Bulls II.
Ranjitsingh, the undisputed starter for Louisville was cautioned in the entertaining contest.
A further point behind in the fifth spot is national defender Carlyle Mitchell and striker Nathan Lewis and their Indy Eleven after a 1-1 draw with Penn.
Mitchell again featured for the full match while Lewis was an unused substitute yet again.
Cordell Cato, with eight goals on the season, was surprisingly left on the bench until the 62nd minute as his Charlotte Independence fell to a 4-1 loss at Bethlehem Steel to remain on 24 points from 17 matches.
T&T youngster Andre Fortune watched on from the bench in his North Carolina 3-1 whipping of Richmond Kickers who introduced national defender Mekeil Williams in the 56th minute.
Tobago-born national defender Jamal Jack had another solid outing for Colorado Springs in a 1-1 draw with San Antonio while Shannon Gomez picked up a 31st-minute.
