The Dwight York-coached T&T se­nior men's foot­ball team will kick off their 12-team Fi­nal Round Con­ca­caf World Cup Group B qual­i­fiers at home to Cu­ra­cao on Fri­day, Sep­tem­ber 5 at the Hase­ly Craw­ford Sta­di­um, Mu­cu­rapo, Port-of-Spain from 8 pm.

T&T will then trav­el to Ja­maica four days lat­er to face the Reg­gae Boyz on Sep­tem­ber 9 at the Na­tion­al Sta­di­um in Kingston from 7 pm in their sec­ond match in the Sep­tem­ber in­ter­na­tion­al win­dow.

T&T will then play their next two match­es in Oc­to­ber away from home against Bermu­da and Cu­ra­cao, and then end with two match­es at home against Ja­maica and Bermu­da in No­vem­ber.

Last June, T&T end­ed sec­ond in Group C to Cos­ta Ri­ca to seal their spot in the 12-team Fi­nal Round from which the three group win­ners will qual­i­fy di­rect­ly to the World Cup to be held next year joint­ly by the USA, Cana­da and Mex­i­co.

Ad­di­tion­al­ly, the two best sec­ond-place fin­ish­ers will move on to the FI­FA Play-Off Tour­na­ment, sched­uled for March 2026.

For the first time in his­to­ry, the Con­ca­caf re­gion could see up to eight teams rep­re­sent­ed at the men’s FI­FA World Cup.
