An 1​8-mem­ber team of ath­letes and of­fi­cials will de­part these shores to rep­re­sent T&T at the in­au­gur­al Union Amer­i­cana de Nat­a­cion (UA­NA) Swim­ming Cup in Mi­a­mi, Flori­da in the Unit­ed States. The three-day com­pe­ti­tion starts to­day and will be held at the Coral Springs Aquat­ic Com­plex at Coral Springs Flori­da. This meet will fea­ture al­most 400 of the top 17 and un­der swim­mers from the Caribbean, Cen­tral and South Amer­i­ca.

The team will fea­ture some of T&T's in­di­vid­ual medal­lists from the 2017 CC­CAN Swim­ming Cham­pi­onships which was host­ed at the Na­tion­al Aquat­ic Cen­tre in Bal­main, Cou­va. Among the team mem­bers are mul­ti­ple na­tion­al record hold­ers Kael Yorke, Racine Ross, Ja­da and Gra­ham Cha­toor, Zoe An­tho­ny and Zarek Wil­son.

The team's Head Coach and Man­ag­er is Joseph Mc Leod and he will be as­sist­ed by Hazel Haynes.
