Jean-Marc Mout­tet has been ap­point­ed the man­ag­ing di­rec­tor of Unilever Caribbean Lim­it­ed.

Mout­tet re­placed John De Sil­va in the post ef­fec­tive last Fri­day, ac­cord­ing to a no­tice of the Trinidad and To­ba­go Stock Ex­change.

“Mr Mout­tet joined UCL in Sep­tem­ber 2019 as na­tion­al sales man­ag­er and has led the trans­for­ma­tion of the sales func­tion, while de­liv­er­ing ex­cel­lent re­sults, re­flect­ed in the com­pa­ny’s per­for­mance year-to-date,” the an­nounce­ment stat­ed.

Mout­tet holds a BSc in mar­ket­ing and has over 30 years ex­pe­ri­ence in gen­er­al man­age­ment and com­mer­cial man­age­ment with multi­na­tion­al and re­gion­al Fast Mov­ing Con­sumer Goods Com­pa­nies.

“He has worked in Trinidad, Mal­ta and the Do­mini­can Re­pub­lic, lead­ing busi­ness­es and grow­ing glob­al brands with a broad Caribbean pres­ence,” it stat­ed.

UCL al­so an­nounced the ap­point­ment of Mani Maraj as its sales man­ag­er.

“Mr Maraj is cur­rent­ly UCL’s ter­ri­to­ries Sales man­ag­er and will main­tain re­spon­si­bil­i­ty for this func­tion in ad­di­tion to re­spon­si­bil­i­ty for lead­ing the na­tion­al sales team,” it stat­ed.

Maraj joined UCL in 2009 and has over 11 years ex­pe­ri­ence in var­i­ous fi­nance and com­mer­cial roles.
