It’s of­fi­cial­ly the Christ­mas sea­son in south Trinidad, Gulf City Mall to be ex­act.

On Sat­ur­day the mall ush­ered in the yule­tide sea­son com­plete with San­ta Claus, Dis­ney char­ac­ters and snow.

Scores of chil­dren frol­icked in the snow (sty­ro­foam par­ti­cles) in the mall’s atri­um.

Many were vis­i­bly ex­cit­ed to get their first glimpse of San­ta Claus as well as Dis­ney princess­es.

The mu­sic and danc­ing al­so con­tributed to the mag­i­cal am­bi­ence.

An­oth­er high­light of the day’s ac­tiv­i­ties was the bless­ing of the creche of ba­by Je­sus by Pres­by­ter­ian Min­is­ter Rev­erend Joy Ab­dul-Mo­han.
