In­ves­ti­ga­tions are con­tin­u­ing in­to the death of a D'Abadie man who was re­port­ed­ly killed fol­low­ing a do­mes­tic dis­pute on Sun­day night.

The vic­tim was iden­ti­fied as Col­in An­tho­ny Dan­clair, 46, of Red Hill, Pi­ar­co Old Road, D'Abadie.

A close fe­male rel­a­tive was al­leged­ly de­tained in con­nec­tion with the in­ci­dent.

Ac­cord­ing to re­ports, Dan­clair and the woman were at their res­i­dence when they al­leged­ly be­came in­volved in an al­ter­ca­tion around 7 pm, dur­ing which he was re­port­ed­ly stabbed mul­ti­ple times.

The in­jured man was rushed to the hos­pi­tal, where he was pro­nounced dead on ar­rival.

Sev­er­al peo­ple took to so­cial me­dia yes­ter­day to ex­press con­do­lences, with many de­scrib­ing Dan­clair as a hum­ble and kind-heart­ed man who al­ways had a lis­ten­ing ear.
