Midwives attached to the Maternity Ward at Sangre Grande Hospital had a busy Christmas morning as four babies were delivered, which included two boys and two girls.
The first baby to be delivered was a boy born to Kizzy Phoneix at exactly 12.01 am. This was followed by the birth of another boy to Linda Bridgemohan as well as baby girls to Naseem Seemunta, who named her baby Kaithlyn. Esther Vidale gave birth to a girl.
Phoneix has not decided on a name for her child.
Linda Bridgemohan smiled as she cuddled her baby, saying this was what she wanted to happen for Christmas while giving thanks to God.

All the mothers were very happy on the birth of their babies on Christmas Day.
Ronald Tsoi-a-Fatt, Chief Executive Officer of the Eastern Regional Health Authority, and some of his staff visited and congratulated the mothers who received baby items.
