A Diego Martin woman was killed, while her 10-year-old son and the driver of the vehicle were left injured, in a car accident along the Diego Martin Highway early on Monday morning.
The victim has been identified as Chiffon Daniel of Savannah Terrace, Bagatelle, Diego Martin.
Guardian Media understands that she was a passenger in a car that collided with a pickup van near Super Pharm in Diego Martin.
Daniel’s son, who is a special-needs child, along with the female driver of the vehicle both sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
