Ke­ston Bled­man will get his 2012 Olympic cam­paign off when he lines up in the Mill­rose Games 60m dash at the Ar­mory in Man­hat­tan, New York, USA to­mor­row. The 2005 World Youth 100m bronze medal­list will face an Amer­i­can quar­tet led by Reg­gie Dixon who is ranked eighth on the 2012 in­door 60m list with a 6.60 clock­ing and Travis Pad­gett who has a per­son­al best of 6.55 sec­onds. Cana­di­an Sam Ef­fah and Great Britain's Ty­rone Edgar are al­so in the field. Bled­man is one of sev­en lo­cal sprint­ers who have at­tained the Olympic 100m stan­dard of 10.18 with his splen­did 9.93 clock­ing in Flori­da in June last year.

Sprint­er hur­dler Alee­sha Bar­ber is among the starters in the women's 60m hur­dles event. The 2010 CAC Games 100m hur­dles cham­pi­on will be seek­ing to im­prove her sea­son's best of 8.17 which she set on Jan­u­ary 27. Amer­i­can Kristi Castlin will start as favourite fol­low­ing her 7.94 clock­ing, the sec­ond quick­est for the year. Great Britain's Tiffany Porter (8.00) and an­oth­er Amer­i­can Nicole Den­by (8.16) should push the T&T's Saucony spon­sored ath­lete to a quick time.
